What is SST?

The sales and service tax (SST) is set to make a comeback in the Malaysian tax scene, after it was scrapped three years ago to make way for the goods and services tax (GST).

At the end of the day, GST will be abolished in 2 to 3 months and SST will be reintroduced which UBS is already ready for. Once the finer details of SST are announced, Sage will adjust accordingly.
